    Prospect mode

    Last night I decided to check some little gold pickers, found in some paydirt. Less than a gram, ran it over the 7.5Khz coil didn't get a hit. I put it in "Prospect mode" wow it pick the little dab of gold up no problem. Going to try it with the 6"HF and see what it does?

    Well I finally got out & put the 6" HF coil on, & hit the prospect mode on the 705. I love it!!! Didn't find any GOLD, but got a lot of lead & some rocks I'm going to crush up & pan? I don't really know but I think this is how it starts!!!!!!!!!! :smile:

    GOLD! What is the all around best metal detector for gold & why? I currently am swinging the x terra 705, not had a chance to prospect with it yet. But when I get the chance I hope it will work for some of that yellow... Hope I receive some feedback, I'd like to get some ideas and maybe some...

    Paydirt

    I purchased a 4lb bag of paydirt to practice with, it has tons of gold dust in it. Question: what's the best way to get all the gold out of the black sand. A lot of it floats? Thanks!
