    13" DD COIL - YOUR OPINION, PLEASE

    Hi Guys, has anyone tried the 13"DD coil? IfSo, what's your opinion of it? I need help on this. I've got s smaller CC coil but need something for woods anad fields where there' not much trash and that coil looks like it would fill the bill. Thanks for any suggestions! Flyguy

    Are beaches (salt or fresh) productive beyond, say, 5' deep?

    I see a lot of hunters on the beaches wading in water at 4' and 5' deep. I haven't seen any using scuba or hookah (maybe I just missed'em.) So I'm wondering if the water too deep to wade in, say, 5' to 8' might not be very productive. Anybody got any experience they'll tell us about using diving...

    If I used a hookah or tank to get beyonnd the usual 4'-5' deep water that most beach hunters look in are the rewards worth the expense and effort? I can see that many successful hunters in those waters might be squemish about letting their success be known! Thanks, Flyguy

    Question: Hunting Around Dive Platforms

    Has anybody hunted around dive platforms at local swimming areas and how would you rate these for potential success? I would think that folks diving and jumping in the water might produce some good targets but would probably require SCUBA gear for the 8-10' depths. Flyguy in Alabama

    I've got an Excal 2 / 800... In the water this seems to be a pretty good combination, but on the beach, poor results. Has anyone put a WOT on an Excal 2 and hit the beaches? If so, what kind of results do you get and is it worth the extra investment? Thanks, Flyguy
