Any idea what this might be?

It would help if you would put something in the picture for a size reference, post both sides and tell us as much as you can, like a general location and what the property was used for.

    Could use some prayers......

Prayers sent for you and yours. I had two malignant melanomas removed from my front and back left shoulder about 8 years ago. The shots they gave me to numb the area felt like monster wasps stinging me! Been going to a dermatologist for check ups on an annual basis and so far everything is good...

    Yesterday's finds

I didn't look at them because I don't want to go blind!

How many Gardner explosive bullets do you have now? To be honest, before you posted one I didn't know they existed.

    Old buttons found yesterday

I think the other button might date from 1823 -1829, but I can't find that specific backmark in any of my references. A. Benedict formed a company in 1823.The company was reorganized in 1829 as Benedict and Coe. In 1834 it became Benedict and Burnham. In 1843 it became Benedict & Burhnam...

    Is this modern?

Modern copper jacketed bullet in my humble opinion.

Help with Id on this bullet

About 5/8" wide doesn't match any civil war caliber bullets I know of. 5/8" converts to .62 caliber. It does look like a .69 caliber. How did you measure it?

    My take on the Deus1.

Great finds. I have been using the Deus 1 for several years now and it will probably be my last detector. I use the deep program with the 11" X35 coil and change frequencies depending on soil conditions. I try to run at 17.8 but, in some fields I have to drop down in some spots. I hunt fields...

Six Silver Day Without a Detector.

Most Coin Stars are located near the return desk in the bigger Walmarts.

Six Silver Day Without a Detector.

Yeah, but I did have to bend over a little! 😁

Six Silver Day Without a Detector.

This close to Christmas, there should be more finds at the Coin Stars.

Six Silver Day Without a Detector.

I took a shirt back to Walmart today and passed the Coin Star on the way, but it was empty. After returning the shirt, my wife and I did a little shopping. On the way out we passed the same Coin Star again. This time there was a handful of coins in the return tray. I scooped them out and when I...

    Horse inplelements

I would keep them. They could easily be CW period and may have seen use hooked to a team of horses pulling a load of supplies for the troops.
