    help needed on how to clean coins dug from ground

    I have a few coins i have dug up (a silver florin and some pennies) and i would like to clean them. is it a no no to clean them? why is this ? items are very dirty, i have used water, this does nothing. i don't want to devalue them but i would really like to see the pictures on the a bit better...

    how do you like this machine? i can not seem to get it to work properly. it seems to beep at everything, then when i dig there is nothing? is there some where to go to learn more?

    i think i got the wrong detector

    oh no i went to Ebay! 3010/GC-1010 (on the front of manual) it just seems to beep all the time and them there is nothing? is their anything i can read to help me learn how to use my machine properly as the manual is really crapie i just think i need over all help i don't know what i'm doing is...
