Gozoman

Been metal detecting for quite a while now. First detector was a C-Scope 950 or something. One of those things with the big shepherd crook handle. Almost put me off detecting! But I was reading that in America they had hip mount detectors and I liked the idea of that but they weren't available here. So basically I went to and electronic shop and bought a bunch of bits and then took a hacksaw to the C-Scope and built my own hip mount detector. I was writing articles at the time for Treasure Hunting and Metal Detecting magazines so I sold the plans for the conversion on there and with the money I made I bought a Tersoro Golden Sabre. After a few years I got interested in Whites and bought an Eagle 2 SL. Had that for quite a few years and then I bought a Whites Eagle Sierra Spectrum hipmount detector. Still have that machine and it still works like new. A few years ago I bought a Minelab E-Trac but haven't used it more than twice due to having to take care of my mother who had dementia. She's gone now so time to get out with the new machine. Other bits and pieces include a stainless steel spade, Garret Edge Digger, Garret wireless headphones and wireless probe and a sling support.
