    best way to store batteries

    Is there a best way to store the batteries for the v3? I have 2 batteries, and was wonder how to keep them in good shape during the 4 or more months that the machine is not in use. Some batteries seem to last longer if they are drawn way down and then recharged, some leave them in the charger...

    What do detectorist use to put dirt on while digging a hole

    I use a corner piece of tarp about 24x 30. The corner grommet gets a key ring in it and that attaches to a key keeper on my belt. Duct tape the cut edges both sides to keep it from pulling apart. Works great if the ground is wet, you can kneel on one end and still have plenty for dirt...

    Thank you to all who took the time to reply, your knowledge and experience sure saves a lot of trial and error for us with less. So far I have mostly worked with the d2 coil and the coin and jewelry program. Magic, I did load your program yesterday and will be giving it a try soon.

    Bad charger or AC adapter issue Batteries won't charge

    mine will often go from charge, red lite on, as soon as I put the battery pak in, to charged ,green lite only, after about 5-30 seconds . If I lift the battery and almost drop it in the charger the second time it stays charging both lites on until charged maybe 1 to 2 hrs.
