    Finally broke the 1800's!!

So we had to head down south a little ways to drop off a car we sold and I finally had a chance to detect a old church that was built in the late 1800's. It has pretty much been raining here for the last 24 hours and I wasn't sure it was going to happen today. Well the big man upstairs took pity...

    Detecting a late 1800's church

So I got permission to metal detect a church built in the late 1800's which I am super excited about but I was told that I had to turn everything I find into the church  would you still detect the place just to see what you find knowing you can't keep anything? I know I could just hand them...

I dug my own fleet of cars!!!

I did a quick 2 hour hunt after work today and got a really weird bouncy signal and decided to dig it. I found the little white ambulance in the plug and was like cool!! I started running the pro pointer through the rest of the plug and kept getting hits..I ended up pulling 5 little hot wheels...

:twodetecting:If you could only have 1 coil, what would it be?

Would you stay with the 11" pro coil or upgrade? I know the coils can be site specific but if you could pick just one to do it all well.. what would it be and why?

    Problem with coil??

Hey guys I have noticed that the last few times I have taken my Explorer Se with pro coil out hunting that if i accidentally bounce my coil off of a small tree stubble or vine while swinging the coil I get a tinkle sound that sounds a lot like when you get a good silver hit. It is frustrating...

My son is in the Army and is home on Christmas leave from Germany :clapping: I took him out to one of my spots and showed him how to use the Vaquero while I did some work with the explorer. Digging nickels is hard work!!

So I created a custom nickle/gold program for my Explorer Se and went back over an area I have been working on for a few trips. I have pulled many clad quarters, dimes and pennies but only 1 nickle so I thought I would give it a try. My second target was a little gold colored ring which turned...
