    Pink rocks found around Lake Michigan ID?

    Could it possibly be datolite? Datolite seems like its more crystal-y than this, but its the only thing I've been able to find so far that has patches of similar shape, and has been found in that location. These are a couple of the images that I'm comparing it to.

    Pink rocks found around Lake Michigan ID?

    I've found a couple of these rocks with odd pink patches around Lake Michigan. All of them are lightweight, flat, and feel somewhat like pottery or sandstone worn smooth by the water. They are in no way translucent, and one side of each always has significantly more of the pink than the other...
