Who uses their wired headphones with the Equinox or Manticore detectors?

I was just curious who all uses their wired headphones plugged into the 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapter, offered by Minelab? I love my wireless headphones, but have been thinking about using my SunRay Golds with this connector instead of the wireless headphones. :minelab:

You have my vote on the Lesche Sampson. They are amazing!

Small park I’ve hit with D1,D2,Manticore hits more silver in a few hours !

Mark with that old Etrac you should have really put a dent in that parks silver. I'm sure that the Manticore is going to be every bit as good as that Etrac was. What an outstanding outing! Nice!

Back to same park and one I hunted a lot for a dime trifecta today.

This location obviously has some great untapped potential Mark! Congrats on your dime trifecta and all of your finds.

    Half Dime

I pulled my first one at the end of '23 at an old farm house. An 1864 you can bet that I was doing the happy dance as it was a white whale for me.

Last hunt of the year./First hunt of the year.

Probably the two best coins that I Love to dig at any new location. Congratulations on ending '23 and starting '24 out with a bang!

    Ctx is a water monster

Don't loose hope yet on a sequel to the 30/30. Minelab is about to hit a homer in 2024!

    Ctx question

Jump on that deal. You can always make an adjustment at the locks. Is he trading for just the stock coil or a couple coils with the CTX? People are selling their 800's for $600 used and no warranty. The CTX is an amazing detector and you can't go wrong on this trade. Then if you didn't like...

    Ctx question

That's an incredible That's insanely cheap for that CTX! I haven't seen anyone around these NE Kansas parts give up their CTX, especially with three coil options, for $875. Most go $1100 to $1000 especially if there's a couple coils included.

How many remember the very first detector you started the hobby with and how long ago ??

You know your correct on that comment! I'm a big Minelab fan and I've since then bought and own the Explorer 2, ETrac, Equinox's, CTX, soon I'll be using the CTX4040 hopefully in the next year and a half👌. I own a whites coinmaster, and a Deus 1 as well with so many different coils to go with...

How many remember the very first detector you started the hobby with and how long ago ??

My first metal detector was a Minelab Explorer XS and I bought it from KellyCo in 98-99. Before buying that one I got to use my friends Nautilus DMC II-B . That was the point that I decided that I needed to own my own metal detector. The minute that I decided to buy a Minelab Machine was when...

    New to Nox 800

I would suggest buying Andy Sabisch's Equinox series book and enjoy his studies on the Equinox and it's different settings. It's the best $20.00 that you'll ever spend. Good Luck and H.H.

whats the best detector you ever had

The Minelab Explorer XS. It is ,hands down, the best silver sniffer and most accurate metal detector that I've owned. It had great depth especially with the factory coil. Sure it was a low and slow metal detector, but by doing so you never missed out on the good stuff!
