    The 8.5" coil makes the detector lighter and improves the balance. It`s nearly as deep as the stock coil and a pleasure to use. All we need now are the Carbon shafts. Happy Hunting, Jerry.

    My Simplex is just a back-up machine until a 9" coil comes along. I use the 9" coil with my XP Deus and it suits me just fine. Its such a shame that we were told a 9" coil was coming along and nothing has happened.? ;) Come on. as loyal customers we deserve better. Jerry.

    She may need a "swingy thingy" to take away the weight. I had one from the Minelab days of yesteryear. It makes detecting so much easier as the session goes on Mind you iam in my middle eighties.LOL. Happy Hunting, Jerry.
