    Bullet ID

    I found this bullet in a sand bar along the shore of a local river and was wondering approximately how old it could be or if it was modern day bullet. It has a groove approximatly 2/3 of the way up and below that there is a diamond shaped "cross hatch" pattern. Any information would be great!
