Land Star VS Quick Draw Pro

Land Star is 4.4lbs. Quick Draw Pro is 2.8lbs. That right there is reason enough to get the Quick Draw Pro.

    "AXIOM"...Garrett's New Release

Paystreak is full of crap in his Axiom video. That was 5 minutes of mindless drivel. First, more dedicated P.I. gold machines are sold around the world than general hobby detectors by a LARGE margin. A very LARGE margin. Second, the high end Minelab gold machines aren't good on the beach...

    Charging cables don't work

If all 3 ends wouldn't charge, I would have spliced a new usb plug on it. If 2 of the 3 worked I would have spliced the one that didn't with the two that do. You could always use a separate cord for the headphones.

Am i going to regret buying the Deus 2

If you live near the Texas Gulf Coast, you will hate it. Please sell it the moment it arrives. If you don't live near the Texas Gulf Coast, yes you will regret the purchase if you don't actually use it and find out what it can do. At some point one has to learn a detector and quit relying on...

Nine Live Digs: XP Deus II vs Equinox 800 vs Tarsacci - GPX 5000

Do you use a dolly to tote the GPX 5000 ? That coil is huge. Good vid, btw.

Makro Legend and the equinox 800

The newer tech has surpassed the V3i by leaps and bounds. The Rutus Atrex may have the capability of showing the frequencies, but I'm not sure. You're welcome.

Makro Legend and the equinox 800

No. Only the V3i does that. If you want to know what frequencies are running in each mode, you'll need a multi-trace oscilloscope.

    Beware of the XP update.

I reloaded and it's back to normal. Don't know what the glitch was but I'm glad it's back to normal with the bigger vdi. It's 5:26 am and I had to know. I cancelled my beach hunt today and rescheduled for Sunday.

    Beware of the XP update.

I think I'm going to reload again and see what happens. Glad yours is good to go.

    Beware of the XP update.

I don't know if this has happened for everyone who has updated but for me and others, there has been a loss of depth.

    Beware of the XP update.

I'll do that. Hopefully it works correctly.

    Beware of the XP update.

Ya the larger vdi numbers are great. However, it doesn't do you any good with the loss of depth. And no, currently there isn't a way to revert back to the original.

    Beware of the XP update.

I did it and so have others, and there has been a significant loss of depth for some. As of now there isn't anything we can do to get back the original version without the larger vdi numbers. Extremely disappointing because I had a beach hunt scheduled for Friday morning. Some users are...
