Need input to help decide which tesoro

Been reading beep and dig posts for weeks and weeks and watching the "informative" videos on utube. Been a meter/vdi guy since I started detecting yrs ago, except for one 3 month gig with a vacquero. Never got the confidence in it, so I parted with it. My interest in Tesoro is back again (...

Long Post ( Seeking Old School )

Greetings to all you owners/users of the classic 1200 series detectors. I've been doing quite a bit of reading in the archives of several "brand" forums that i've been interested. I've mainly focused on the Fisher site because i know Fisher has been around a long, long time, and i know they are...

    Vaquero F/S

Beautiful high tone Vaquero bought in Feb 2012. This is a 10 out of 10 in appearance, except for light scuff marks on coil cover. I used this machine only two times, other than that it has been stored in the original Tesoro box. I also am including the 5 3/4" concentric coil bought new the same...

I'd Like To Be A Tesoro User. Need Advice.

Hi all you experienced Tesoro users, I've been looking at several different brand forums for several weeks. I've just about narrowed my decision to a new Tesoro. I coin shoot old sites and am looking for depth!!!, stability, and good iron rejection. From what I've read, i'm undecided on a...

You ATPRO users got my attention

Especially when you say the Pro can take the place of the high end machines. Is it that good???????? I've gone thru different brands, medium to the high end, and still want for my MXT,( found more goodies with it than all the rest combined ). I currently have an X-Terra 70 that will soon be gone...

    The Fickled Detectorist

That's me, fickled. Always looking for a different machine. Looking for that edge, the small advantage over the next guy ( I mean my hunting partners, hehe). Little did I know that they had the lead on me all the time, snickering under their breath, witnessing me going from this detector to that...

    Bobdylan.....did you or not?

Just curious to know if you decided on going for an MXT. I saw your post on the MXT forum. Seems like most of the people on that forum favored the MXT over the X-Terra 70,( but that would be expected since its the MXT forum). Be interesting to see the responses from the people here on the...

Anyone here switched from a xlt or dfx to the mxt?

I've been back and forth with numerous detectors,(dfx, xlt, coinstrike,quantro,x-terra 50,etc.......). The mxt has found more stuff than any of the mentioned put together. I'm two gray hairs from swapping my 4 mo. old xlt for a new mxt. This will make the fourth mxt if I do it. At this point...

    FS CZ5

Thought i'd give the CZ5 a try out. It's a great detector, but I'm going back to the detector I know best. It has a few light scratches on the control box. 7 out of 10 appearance wise. Works perfect. $440.00 shipped Priority Mail.

ANY FORMER MXT OR DFX USERS HERE?

Although I like the ID system of either of these machines, I'm leaning towards a Cortez or Vaquero, due to the weight of the whites. I'd like to know if the Cortez can match the depth of the whites, and which Tesoro of the two gets better depth,(or are they equal)? Looking for the deep old coins...

    Thanks Elton

Smooth and pleasant transaction with you Elton. The CZ5 looks good and responds like a champ. It was a pleasure to talk with you via the phone about some of my questions on how to operate the detector. Thanks for the personal communication. Your a very pleasant individual with a high degree of...
