    vdi # and the cortes

    Could anybody give a number chart on vdi numbers for the cortes?Keep getting good upper level number's and keep digging trash.Have dug More tinfoil than i could could shake a stick at.Also some guy's here in my town have been digging a few minnie ball's from a old cw campsite what do they show...

    Cortes VDI numbers

    Could somebody please give me a idea of what numbers to look for on the cortes?I know the iron and the good coins,but what about everything else.ex. minnie balls,other civil war relics,larger jewerly etc.etc.....thank you very much in advance.......kd

    Cortes question

    Just starting out with a cortes,Have a question for all of you cortes pro's.After ground balancing the unit,and switching to disc.mode.When runnign the machine it seems the display constantly stay's iron and/or foil.Is this normal?It does move to the approiate location when a good target is...

    Looking for tip on 1350,Had some issues with eliptical coil, but are working them out.Could really use and tips and hints anybody could give me really like this detector.......thanks in advance kd

    gtp 1350 coil

    Does anybody else have trouble with the 7X10 eliptical coil?I really don't like it.Think the 8.5 CrossfireII would do a better job.Would like to hear both sides.Have never liked garretts DD coils.let me know.kd

    need inexpensive electrolysis unit

    Need help with cleaning old silver coin,have been using everything i can think of and nothing is working.Have used soap and toothbrush,soap and vinegar,vinegar alum foil and baking soda.Need instructions on electrolysis as its my last hope any other suggestions would be appreciated.......thanks...

    quattro turn on question

    Sometimes,when i turn my machine on it makes some sort of digital sound for a second or 2,then is quiet so i can noise cancel and start detecting.Is that normal or is it the start of a problem to get taken care of ?????hh kd:shrug:
