    Bad NiMH Battery?

    my drop in charger is funky sometimes, green light flickers,red light goes off too soon , one time battery got smelly hot, only works wierd sometimes,battery still charges up ok. i think some chargers might be a bit shakey. i just redrop my charged pack once or twice to be sure.

    SCREEN FROZEN

    my v3i has locked up three or four times in a little over a year of heavy use, dropping the battery always fixes it, no big deal i guess, unless it happens alot, usually happend when switching from single to multi alot. i wouldnt worry too much.

    I am undecided on a DFX or VX3

    haha! 3 feet, that would have to be a huge coin lol. seriously though my 500 dollar used dfx bought my v3i, and i havent looked back, would you buy a 10 year old computer or a new one if they cost the same? the vx3 v3i is a huge improvement.

    dfx300 no comparison to v3i, the v3i is FAR superior.

    the vx3 runs correlate, dfx runs both.

    dont worry about all the settings right away , learn on the factory programs first, take it slow dont get overwhelmed . happy hunting.

    A ghost in my V3i?. Why why this happens?

    i get a heat issue also, in the sun on 90 degree days i go into overload with boost and rx14 , droping to rx11 or turning off boost fixes it. only happens with very high settings. d2 coil

    as i understand the vx3 always runs correlate in 3 freq , this probably affects deep iffy target response., single freq should act like the v3i , im guessing.

    nice indian, +74? was that 3 freq , thats really high for an indian, did it read like that out of the ground?

    i pounded out an old trashless river area in 3 freq and got lots of coins and two musket balls, same area in one day in 2.5 found 5 musket balls and a three ringer, all deep all at +80 up , checked with 3 freq and sounded bad. i was running 2.5 non normalized. not really looking for lead.
