    Why did I do it? Fisher 442 VLF (W/Pic)

    Picked up a Fisher 442 VLF on eBad. Like I really need this one. It was "purdy" so I bid and won it. The posting said he didn't have time to test it to see if it worked, (that's code for it don't work), so I guess I got another closet queen.

    My home made "coil steady" for Stingray & Tiger.

    Here's my first try at making a "coil steady" for my Tiger Shark and Stingray II 8" coils. Kinda screwed up on the pivot bolt hole but will do better on the final version.     My home made EXcelerator coil steady.

    Found out when I put my new 10" EXcelerator coil onto my Beach Hunter ID that it would definitly need a coil steady. Used a PVC lid, off a electrical box, to make two of them. Used old nylon 3/8" toilet seat bolt to attach on rod cause original bolt was too short. Other one is for my Tesoro...

    My New Diggin Tool

    Check out my new diggin tool! Saw it at Home Depot for $12.95 in the plumbing section. It's a Malco 6" Duct Knife, double edged, stainless steel blade with soft molded handle. Also came with a sheath.

    Beach Hunter ID Mod.

    Thought I might share this. I'm left handed and it's not user friendly for "me!" I replaced the coil with a negative bouyancy 10" EXcelerator coil and in progress of putting toggle and LED's on the top of the rod.
