    like to identify

    As I continue to search a local area near an old French and Indian war battleground I found this piece. Its about 1.5 square and has an emblem on it. Does anyone recognize what this is and from where? It almost appears as a buckle or something. Thanks

    I was metal detecting close to and old battlefield (Bushy Run) from the French and Indian war and found this about 10inches below. Does anyone know what it is and can anyone identify it to a time period? Thanks
