    Can anyone identify this?

    I found this today in Corinth, MS at a campsite I've been detecting. Its next to neighborhood so there's a chance it's not period but it looks very old. I've found a lot of bullets, a button and other items yards from the hole I dug this out of. Does anyone know what this is?

    Bent Belt Buckle

    I found a bent sword buckle outside of Corinth, MS the other day with my Garrett AT PRO. Does anyone know where/how I can get it straightened out? Not sure how it was bent but it came out of the ground like this. I think its an 1851 style plate but it didn't have any eagle or other decoration...
