    1875 dime

    I was going to show this at the club meeting but had a scheduling conflict. Have gotten out one time since finding this and was able to rescue a 1917 wheatie and some newer stuff. HH to all.

    My first Fall hunt

    Finally got my Mom moved from GA to IL this past weekend. Decided to get the SE out and do some hunting. In two hours I only had two finds, the first was a small caliber bullet. The second was a SEATED DIME !!!!!! :hot: I hope to get out more now. HH

    Recently I found two US Large Cents. I have been soaking them and have found that I can't read a date on one, but the other one the date is quite clear. Guess the date of the Large Cent. The closest to the date will win a silver Quarter at the January club meeting! Rules; You must be a PATH...

    I only found 2 coins in two hours of hunting and they were in the same hole! Two US Large Cents !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jump: Finding a LC has been on my wish list for 10 years. What a thrill !! :beers:

    In my ten years of detecting I have always wanted to find a 2 center and yesterday I did ! :bouncy: I was using my SE with the 6x8 SEF coil.

    I was really jealous of all the guys posting Barber quarters here...

    since I haven't found one in several years until today! This one was hiding from me at a park that I know I have detected the spot that I found it at least 3 times. I guess I hit it from the right angle this time.:clapping: HH

    A couple of good hunts...

    this week with a big silver, my 2nd of the year. The 10 x12 SEF is working great for me in the trash. I have been working slow and finding goodies in heavily hunted spots. HH

    After a few hours with the 10 x 12 SEF coil...

    I like it!!! I wouldn't say it was any deeper than the Pro coil but it swings easier IMO. Separation and depth are good. It glides along the ground like the original Explorer coil. HH to all.
