    Anyone here beach hunt in SC...

    with the explorer? I used to have an excal 1000 and found it to be great. Looking to buy a sovereign gt but I cannot find any deals on one. So I've found an explorer se. I really don't like visual and programmatic detectors, had all of the bells and whistles on the mxt, spectrum, etc...

    Head Hunter Wader $275

    Falsing when to be concerned....

    Battery question... How do you know....

    when the batteries are low? I bought the best batteries for the excal (as recommended) and it seems I only have about 4 hours out. Now my excal is acting "goofy". wonder if its my batteries... how do you tell with the excal if the batteries are running low. thanks.. Pappy

    Any cannonball experts out there.....

    I went to an old site that I've found some decent cw buttons but pretty much worked it out. Took out my new excal and tried a few new places. I dug this cannonball about 2 feet down. I weighs 9.4 pounds and is 4" across. Any info would be greatly appreciated... [attachment 86268 040608b.jpg]...
