    V3i Case.....

The stock Whites padded gun style case works well, I can fit the V3i with a Super 12 or 10x12 coil. It fits snug and I can also get the wireless head phones in the zippered pouch. I would not recommend the Whites backpack, I have to completely disassemble the s rod to make it fit.

MX5 Owners - How Deep Are You Getting on Coins

I'm real close to ordering a MX5 or MXT Pro. I tried a friends MXT and found a dime at 10" with the 950 coil, and I'm wondering if users of the MX5 are getting anything similar. I've read a few posts on various forums and most of what I see is 5" to 8" deep. I did see a youtube video where a guy...

V3i and older Vision V3i interference

Yesterday while beach detecting I saw another guy with a detector and we were working towards each other. We were about 100 feet apart and my V3i started to go crazy. It wasn't the normal interference that sounds like constant falsing, it sounded like a hard short circuit electrical sound. I was...

    Rechargeable Wireless headphone batteries

I agree Rob, you don't have to buy the expensive charger. The La Crosse charger has a lot of bells and whistles (kind of like the V3i). Again you don't have to buy the expensive charger to benefit from the eneloop batteries, its just personal preference, but I do believe it helps get a few extra...

    Rechargeable Wireless headphone batteries

When I was trying to figure out the which rechargeable batteries to get, I happened across a photography forum. There were many threads about which rechargeable battery was the best (longest shelf life, peak run time, etc.). The thing that caught my attention was it seemed they always compared...

    Battery Charging

I have a v3i with the standard rechargeable battery. Is it better to charge the battery after every hunt or let it run low before recharging? I usually hunt about 2 to 6 hours per hunt, so there is plenty of charge left on the battery for another hunt. The manual says the battery can be...

Another V3i Question...Battery consumption, in Main and Wireless

The wireless headphones: I purchased the enloop rechargeable batteries from costco on sale for about $20.00 (I was getting about 10 to 12 hours of use with the alkaline copper top batteries). The enloop kit comes with 8 AA rechargeable batteries, 2 AAA rechargeable batteries and a charger that...
