    V3i and nails / trash - need settings recomendations.

    Might try turning your Rx gain down to 5 or 6, the Discrimination sensitivity to 80 to 90 and then the Recovery delay to around 45 to 50. I have used this in some trashy areas with some success. Good luck on your site and hope you pull out some good targets. rcsnake

    icons removed

    Yes you can turn them off by going to the Expert Menu/Configure/Live Search Screen/Search/Icons and clear the box (without the X). This should turn the Icons off. rcsnake

    Turning up the transmit power for the headphones has very little effect on the battery life and not enough to even be concerned about. I usually use mine turned all the up to 7 on the power level. Also when near electrical interference having the power level on a setting of 7 will work better...
