    Very informative thank you. I did read everything I could about the Minelab ES before I bought it and it was comforting to me that I really had know trouble with it. I even had people from Ohio come and hunt with me that had the ES and other units. I agree different detectors seem to work better...

    I have never used a Whites machine,is this the best they ever made and if so how is it compared to the Explorer XS I use to own the detector of flute sounds, or any of the other high end Labs and Fisher. If anyone has the newest updates did it make it better?
