    New Detector Suggestions

    I have always used beep and dig detectors but the time has come to make a change. After major back surgery and forced retirement it has become apparent that I need to try a tid unit, problem is which one. For starters I am thinking $200-$300 range and simple since it will be my first. Thanks Rob

    I have an opportunity to pick up an Eldorado w/stock coil and a 7" concentric, currently using a Cibola in neutral soil. Is there much of a difference between the machines other than GB to make the move? Any thoughts are appreciated. Rob

    White's 6000 Di Pro

    Recently given a 6000 Di Pro (blue box) that has been in the family since new. Also received numerous coils, and a Depthmaster Blue Bird, only has the C-cell battery pack. I know it was a great machine in it's day. I would appreciate any tips on getting started with it. Thanks Rob

    My White's Classic III has developd a short so my daughter is letting me use her Amigo II. My question is about the audio. Sounds very scratchy and hollow. Is that normal for this unit? Rob

    Has anyone had a short in the battery leads on the square box Classics? This seems to be a recurrent problem for me. Had it repaired and it's doing it again! Aahhhhh!

    Time For New Machine

    I got out this evening for the first time in a while with my old White's Classic III only to find out it has a short. My budget for a new machine will only be for $200-$300. I would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations to get the most performance for the money. Rob

    Just got offered a 6000 Di Pro, 4 coils, depthmaster device, backpack case for $100.00. Is this a deal or is the money better spent on newer technology?
