    Good day detcting!

Dug this baggage tag at an old site. Still doing a little research but it appears to be linked to a territorial livery business. Thanks for looking!

    The "D" is there!

We hunted a small yard Sunday that only gave up a couple of wheats. I knew I had one in the teens but had no idea the 1914 D was in my pouch until we got in the car and drove off. It cleaned up much better than this picture shows! Love the T2 with the 5" coil!

T2 got me a dime trifecta!

[attachment 273446 t2finds.jpg] Made a road trip to one of our favorite counties Sunday and managed to get the ok to hunt a few places. They came out newest to oldest, first the merc, then the barber and my last find of the day was the seated. My first ever Carson City Coin:bouncy: HH Lisa

T2 small coil = big silver

Hunted a very small yard Sunday that had been tilled up. Nothing but new coins and trash until I swept the little 5" coil right next to a metal fence post and out popped my first ever Barber quarter! No way the big coil would have let me near this target... Happy Memorial Day!

Liberty (seated) celebration on July 4th!!!:jump:

We detected an older rental house with a scraped front yard on Sunday. Apparently, it had been previously hunted but we agreed that it was worth a shot. It's true nothing is ever "hunted out"... I found this 1853 Seated with Arrows and Rays Quarter using the 5" coil down about 6 inches in the...

First Barber and 100 year old coin!

We made it out for a short hunt on some horse property where some turn of the century homes once stood. I was using the 5" coil, sensitivity set to 77, 3 tones, disc. 25. The little coil locked right onto this dime at 3". This is my first barber coin and first 100 year old coin at the same...

    New small coil is awesome!

Hi all- My earlier post suffered a technical glitch and was lost. Thought I'd put it up again. I was fortunate enough to get the new coil and have only been out once with it since the weather has turned pretty bad here. This coil is a definite winner! No problems with GB or target ID, it...

    Finally getting silver!

UTdigger and I are starting to get out on some better sites lately thanks to some good friends, and the T2 has been treating me pretty good! My silver count was holding at one merc going into this month and the last few times out have netted these (1918 s merc,1945 s war nickel, 1952 d...

    T2 gets 1910 advertising medallion:wiggle:

We hit a large lot that was razed a few weeks ago Sunday. It had been hunted hard and supposedly given up a few seated coins and barbers. I did manage to find this advertising medallion from the Excelsior shoe company. Some research revealed that these were made in 1910 and tied to the laces...
