    gun part?

    This came from a old housesite where I found two gun parts: a trigger guard and part of a lockplate off musket.I kept this iron piece thinking it may be a possible gun part also? If you recognize it let me know.It could just be housesite junk.

    HAS ANCHOR ON BOTH SIDES OF PIECE.ONE PIECE HAS APPLIED PIECE OF METAL LIKE ZINC.THE HOLES FOR ATTACHMENT MAKES ME THINK IT'S NOT A OLD JAR SEAL.

    THIS IS THICK CAST BRASS AND MEASURES 1INCH & 5/8IN.WIDE.ALMOST RESEMBLES LETTER "P" OR LOWER CASE "d".THE HOLE LOOKS PUNCHED BY SOMEONE,RATHER THAN MACHINED FOR MECHANICAL PURPOSES.FROM A REAL OLD SPOT.
