    Don't do it!!! Too many people atempt this feat and just screw up their Detectors. You need equipment to do this correctly.     I have a Tek 7500 that works intermittently. It does turn on 90% of the time but have to turn on and off a couple times. I believe it's just the battery connections. If interested let me know. silverseeker 2
