    I'M Baaack!

After the summer from hell, consisting of, 100 days of 100 degrees+, no rain, fires all around us, a termite infestation in the rear of my house, 13 teeth surgically removed (no insurance) and last but not least a mother-in-law in the final stages of alsheimers. I'm Back! Took the AT and my new...

Big Silver #6 For The AT:super:

Had the day off from work today, so I took the AT back to my favorite spot. I hunted for 2 hours and found nothing but pull tabs, and fishing weights, (25) in all. Then I hit what must have been a virgin spot. The ring is #6 for the AT. and is .95 pure silver.:hot:

    New territory

They dozed a brick house 3 blocks from where I work on Friday, so I decided to get there before anyone else plundered it. I hunted the area thoroughly, but it did'nt give up much. I got (2) quarters, (1) dime, (1) nickel, and (20) pennys. I was suprised at the number of pennys. Oh well...

    AT at The Park

Took the AT for a walk in the park today. My first find was a "Woodmen of The World" token. The 2nd find was this coin bracelet, consisting of 18 silver coins dated 1940. Quite a day!:hot:

An Easter Walk Through The "Gultch"

:super:I took a stroll through the "Gultch" this Easter morning with my trusty AT. No eggs, or rings , but plenty of clad. BCD is finding the rings right now, but each new outing I know I'm closing in on them.

Back to the scene of the plunder!

Went back to the same area BCD and I hunted yesterday, hoping he missed a ring or some other goodie. No rings, but not a bad haul of clad! I wonder if we'll ever get all the "Old Gal" has to offer!:twodetecting:

    BCD (2) Snoop & Scoop (0)

Ran into BCD at the "Gultch" this am. He found (2) rings I found (0). They just seem to jump under his coil! I did pick up a couple of pointers on the settings of the AT from him though. All in all an enjoyable morning.

    Silver at the Gultch

Took the AT out this morning to "Buzzard Gultch". BCD and I have pounded this place, but it still continues to give. Between my wife and I we found 39 clad, and the AT scoped out a nice little :clap:silver heart pendant.

    What happened to Quality?

I bought a 6.5 x 9", and a sniper coil cover for my Ace 250. I had to sand the edges of both before I could put them on. The 6.5 x 9" broke around the inside edges the 1st time I tried to remove it and put it back on. I have used a number of different brands of detectors, and have never seen...

    Park Hunt

I found an old park that has'nt been hunted much, if at all. The problem is that it was built over an old landfill. There is junk everywhere! Old nails, chunks of aluminum, like out of a mold. Steel bands, you name it. I hunted a total of 5 hours. I found (5) dimes, (25) pennys. The...
