    Detech ultimate 13" on Whites beach hunter

    Anyone know how to wire the Detech ultimate 13" coil to a Whites Beach Hunter 300. Coil has a black and brown wire inside the same shielding and a clear inside a separate shielding. Not sure if I use brown, black or both. Thanks

    Has anyone put a Detech ultimate 13" on a beach hunter

    The 12" coil on my Beach Hunter 300 is bad and I have a Detech 13" V rated coil but I'm not sure how to wire it. The 12" coil has a red wire + shield and a clear wire + shield. Detech has clear wire + shield and 1 brown and 1 black wire inside one shield. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Ground balance?

    I have a new 705 with the 10.5 DD 7.5 KHz coil. It will automatic ground balance but there is a lot of chatter before during and after. As soon as I hit the pinpoint/detect button the chatter stops. Just wondering if this is normal or if I have an issue with the coil or detector?

    30 Min. Hunt between rain storms

    Stopped on my way home to hunt a yard. It quit raining shortly after I got there. First tone was a high tone 00 29 Out popped the 1918 silver half about 4" deep under a root. Pulled the other three items along with a few bits of trash then it started to rain again.

    505 first time out

    Got my new x-Terra 505 and a Garrett pro pointer today. Took them out in the back yard to give them a try. I dug twelve 27-30 TID at 2" to 4"and pulled out 12 penny's and zero trash. I think I'm going to like the 505 and the pro pointer is unreal.
