    headphones???

    I was somewhat surprised after reading "Modern Metal Detectors" by Charles Garrett to realize that the Quattro doesn't have a headphone jack! He mentions several times that a serious hunter should always use headphones and says that without headphones you miss a lot of hits. Any comments?

    I must say I've learned a lot in just reading the posts! As a newbie (about 1/2 hour in a junk filled old barn yard) I haven't had time to even sort out what all the differing sounds are telling me...I think I need to go somewhere with a LOT less targets to differentiate what is what!!! One...
