    Mx5 noisey threshold

    Threshold tone is noisey on my MX5.Static unless Sens is at 4 & threshold is 23 I like to use Sens 8 but will not smooth out Til is so loud you cant hear anything else Tried 3 0ther MX5s Same thing. My Sov. & Safari have smooth threshold with any Sens setting.Sent to Whites Came back same...

    Xterra 305,505 Gnd Bal

    Will both 305 and 505 balance to wet salt sand.I dont need the low Freq ,I can use the 305 if it will work. Thanks tincan

    Good light weight MD?

    I'm 78yrs old and been MD 35years .I need a lite wt MD Ive had Sovereigns Safari 705 Whites PI.All lite MDs dont do it Presently have M6 MXT and ACE 350 I have arthritis and want a MD thats lite and has auto ground bal. Any suggestion would be appreciated tincan302 Treasure coast Fl.

    Xterra 30 depth

    According to the people that have them the XT 30 is a beast.It finds Quarters at 15" My XT 705 won't do that. If this is true I want one.I've been at this 35 years.My Sovs might do this but my Safari won't. Any Thoughts. Tincan 302 Treasure Coast Fl.

    Xterra 705 coils

    I'm new to the 705. Had Sovereigns and last had a Safari Loved them all But because of age and back I needed something lighter.I hunt beaches wet and dry sand.I have 5x10 DD 18.75 coil and 9' 7.5 coil. I would like to know which is best. Thanx tincan302 Ft Pierce FL.
