    Update here. Its back to life! I thought the speaker was broken for a little while, but it turns out the detector doesnt make any noise without a coil plugged in. I used some of your suggestions like the air drier and now its working fine!

    The head of my Tesoro outlaw got dunked in water for about half a second. It didn’t have the battery in and i got all the water off right away and used compressed air to dry the insides. What do you guys think my chances of survival are? Im going to let it sit for a long time.

    Well I would try and test it if there wasn’t about 5 inches of snow over my test garden lol. Maybe when it warms up I will post about this again with my results.

    Yes, but when your battery is outputting lower voltage it will affect the performance of the detector. So at what voltage does it start noticeable effecting things, that’s what I’m asking
