Discrimination or notch?

New member
On the Deus 2 if I don’t want dig anything below VDI 30 and don’t want to hear iron what is better, discriminate to 30 or notch till 30 and turn iron volume to 0. I know I will miss things that might come in below 30.

Sometimes on a trashy site it's worth it to focus on the good stuff. I think your describing the same thing, so it really doesn't matter. Usually a "notch" is only rejecting only a small area in the middle of an accepted area.

Notch is usually for small sections, but which one reduces depth more, notch or discrimination. I always thought discrimination reduced depth.

They say you can Disc out to 40 without losing depth, but I wouldn't do it.
I only Disc to 10 and if I need more, I will use notch, but I don't. I like to hear what's down there.
