Test bed for US coins

I just finished a test bed for coins, a total of 23 coins at a buried distance of 6, 8, 10, and 12". I know that a freshly buried coin is harder to detect than a coin that has been in the ground for years. Any idea how long it takes for a buried coin to be detected the same as coins buried a long time. I know this is a stupid question, LOL

My guess would be 6 months, by that time everything should be settled down and reading the same.
Deep coins are a whole new world compared to swallow ones, this is where most of us are detecting, all the easy stuff is pretty much gone.

When I made my test garden I took and added water to the spoil as I was filling in the hole to make sure all of the air pockets were gone.

Just give ot some time and it will all work out.
