YEP!!!!! I picked one up from Richard when they had the combine with the carbon lower rod which I think is a bust as I get some play in the shaft I didn't have with the standard shaft but the coil is a winner. I had been using the larger one a lot but don't feel I have given up much depth or coverage with the 12x9. Definitely would opt for it over the standard if given a choice.

It's effortless to swing just like the standard coil but even the 13.5" one was not that hard to swing all day. I don't hunt large fields with few targets so weight is seldom an issue since I'm always digging targets. I had no trouble swinging the CTX with the 18" coil all day for that very reason.
