I took the F70 to a park yesterday, weather was nice, sunny and warm for this time of year. Over a couple of hours I dug $5.04 in clad. Included in that total was my first dollar coin for the year, a presidential dollar. Also got an earring, the post is marked 925, diamond is very shiny, probably cz or glass?
Left the park and stopped at a grocery store on the way home to buy some flowers for the wife, as Valentines Day was the next day. I parked near one of the corners of the parking lot and noticed that the pile of snow from snowplowing the lot still had not completely melted. After buying the flowers, I checked the pile of snow and on the back side (side facing the street), there it was, my reward for stopping and taking a look around. Most times I check snow piles I come away empty, but once in a while I find a coin or two, a piece of jewelry or a piece of paper money. I don’t detect the snowpiles, just eyeball. GL & HH!
