Hello, I just ordered my new Manticore. Any recommendations on a good coil? Are the wireless headphones that come with it any good or should I order different ones?

The headphones are definitely better than the one that came with the early Equinox series. I recently bought the WM 9 and am now able to use my Sunray pro gold with the Minelab proprietary end. The tones are much better, and the wind is not a problem. The stock coil has been really good in my opinion. JMO
I own the Manicore and does a great job. I also like the headphones and easy to pair. I also own the Nokta Legend, a good machine also, improving a few of the short comings on the Nox 800 that I also have. My opinion on the beach is if you get over a target they all work great. The 800 Nox has great electronics but weak ears on the coil and head phones can be a problem pairing. I also have an Excalibur II, another great machine with a Tony Eisenhower headphones modification.

The ones that come with manticore are great in my opinion. They work well for me.

Your only options on coils are the standard (M11), M8 and M15. All depends on what you are searching for and the environment.
