It's been a few years guys.. But it's time to get back in the saddle,, Any recommendations as I have no idea what the new detectors are out. Something for land and water..thx GregM..

I run a Deus 2 and Manticore check out some of our finds and videos Dave evers jr on youtube they both work great
Mark

Good luck with your choice as there are so many new machines about and they all perform at about the same level in reality and will all get you the same number of finds if you learn them well........I'm sticking with my Sovereign gt until I see a machine comes out that will genuinely increase my finds rate.😊😊

Nokta Legend , best bang for the money
Minelab Manticore , best bang for the ego
:)
:)
Nokia Legend,, How's the performance on a salt beach, Are saltwater ?

Under a grand, go with the Legend with extra coils. Over a grand and for submerging completely in salt water the Excalibur is still hard to beat. There has been some leaking issues with the Manticore.

I'm in the same boat - too a long break from detecting. I purchased an equinox 800 in December, I like it, but the grass is always greener... I have an old excal ii that I would like to fix, but not sure if it's worth it.
