I'm curious about your thoughts on the phrase "God bless you". I know it intends good will to others, but should we be saying it? Do we have the right to confer God's blessing on anybody?
1 John 1:10-11 KJV, If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
God Bless is almost identical to the term God speed and if we are wishing it on the wrong people, aren't we also partakers in their evil deeds?
