found with a D2 and HF2 Coil, at least 12” deep and was a whisper high tone.

I did a Google check on eagle lock company and found that it was established in 1833 also at one point in time it was the largest lock company in the world.
If that lock has a patent # on it that would help date it.
I kinda like the patina on it so I haven’t gotten too aggressive with cleaning it. I’m thinking mid to late 1800s.
