Fisher F75

I don’t want that I purchased back in 2016 timeframe. Have used it some but not as much as I anticipated. Just some general questions to remind myself why I bought it Just some general questions to remind myself why I bought it

Is The F 75 design, more coin hunting in parks or going to and old farm site?

What is a good depth for finding a quarter - range will work. I understand soil conditions can impact the depth

t's great for both, which version do you have.? if you have the earlier version get the DST upgrade it's well worth the money.. I've pick up silver quarters at 10 to 12 inch depths with no problem. She goes deep.

The f75 is one of the best machines I’ve ever owned. Excellent for parks as well as relic detector too. I have other machines like the Anfibio and the Legend, but the f75 is my daily machine for almost everything except water detecting.
The f75 is one of the most balanced machines I’ve ever swung. At 2.5lbs it can be swung all day, the batteries are cheap and last way longer than the advertised 40hrs. Sensitive and quiet even at max sensitivity, maybe that is because I have the ltd version with dst mode, I’m not sure. I’m sure it would easily hit a 10” quarter, probably a 12” too.

Can you tell me whats the greatest F series detector for hunting deep ?

The F75 for me is the best Fisher I ever had, the other Fisher seem to pick up too many rusty nails and other junk. I got one of the first F-75 that came with the stock coil and the small coil like it was 4X6 as I am not sure of the size. The stock coil got too many signals that covered up and good target, so I switched over to me smaller coil and picked up some great things and coin. Being many of my site I like are trashier that smaller coil I used mostly. It sure did impress me with the first site I tried the smaller coil as it was a street and sidewalk replacement that was told many detector have been over it, so I found the trashier area and the first was a nice 1874 IH penny, then a 1893 Canadian fish scale the a old diamond ring, looks more like a engagement ring all with in less than 10 feet, the reason everyone seem to have missed them is because their coils seen too much, or maybe they didnt know how to set their machine for condition or being in too much hurry. My buddies wanted to go elsewhere, so I had to leave and never got back to this area.
My friend I was with had called me at home as he found this place and ask me what I was doing and ask if I wanted to make the trip as it was around 100 miles from me ands said I would pass until he told me had got 12 IH pennies in 2 hours, so I told him on my way. I sure wished we would have been the first one here and wondered if we could the first one here what would our finds have been. neighbors along the street were friendly enough and said told us some of the things found and couldn't believe at what they had missed.
