Two of the items appear to be buckles of some sort…one appears to be brass, but is missing the iron tongue.
The button looks like a two piece button…can you post a photo of the front of it?

Sure thing. I was told the buckles are probably horse tack and buttons from the early to mid-1800s. Does
this seem to be probable?

I would tend to agree… the button looks like a piece button.
If you can make out the words on the back, that will narrow it down some too.

Looks like a button back and a couple of buckles to me.
