V 4.1 headphones

When updated to 4.1 will the headphones that came with the detector update to stereo or are new headphones required?

To get stereo you must have one of the 2 models stereo headphones.
Updating non stereo headphones will not yield stereo.

In addition, V4.1 is the non-stereo software version for pre-stereo hardware, and all components must be on the same version to function. V4.0 is the stereo version and only works for stereo headphones (but again all components must be on the same software version). If you buy stereo headphones and upgrade to V4.1, your headphones won’t operate in stereo.

My understanding is Version 4.0 is for stereo components and stereo operation. Version 4.1 is the non-stereo version for the legacy hardware or for people who don’t wish to operate in stereo mode. Non-stereo headsets with version 4.0 will not function properly and will not operate in stereo. Stereo headsets with version 4.1 will function as normal (non-stereo) headphones.

WSA St and WSA ST Xl headphones . With version 4.1 can work with and without stereo. With user using remote, wS6 or WS6 St as a controller to the wireless ST headphones along with one of the FMF coils or the mighty HF2 coil.
