My interests have been been elsewhere lately. Have been organizing my hobby room and pulling out the md stuff. Charging up my Deus 1 and 2 and basically relearning. A friend and his wife expressed an interest in detecting so I gave them my White V3i, all the coils etc. I still had the manual and DVD and the passcode even.
Anyway have recently purchased a 3d printer so down another rabbit hole I go!
Anyway the Deus backlight is less than helpful in the sun so printed out a prototype little slip on shade. Still a work in progress and a little rough . If it helps and if anyone is interested I'll share the file. I try to focus more on the sounds but like to see the screen too.

Slip on shade sounds like an interesting idea, best of luck with that invention
