comparing v.71 with v4.1 with hf2 coil in use

targets

Active member
i did a comparison to see if theres a difference between the 2 using two D2 syetems using the same tweaked programs for depth using a ingot of pure silver
i was waving the ingot over the hf2 coil to see if there was an advantage in distance etween the ingot and the coil
version v.71seem to have a clear advantage over 4.1 .i cant figure why, as no ground effect was in force, any thoughts?
.71 had a clear lead over 4.1 for distance in air for the ingot target

There’s a lot of us who are still on .071. I have two D2s and occasionally move one up to a new software version for a try, but have been disappointed every single time. Then I put 71 back in. Of course you can’t do the stereo things but that’s about it and the consensus seems to be nobody really cares about the stereo option in use. Get out there.
