    Why are Excal Knobs so hard?

    That is the only thing I don't like about my Excal II 1000. The threshold knob is so hard to turn on and then when turning off I'm afraid of going past the stop, other than that it's a great machine. I leave all the other settings alone, just use the on/off threshold knob. I remember reading...

    Position of Excal control box

    I have my control box mounted just behind my elbow on my homemade straight shaft and it works very good. Just wondering if any of you have tried using the excal with the control box mounted just under your forearm. Would the balance be any better? Thanks for any info. HH John

    CZ vs Excalibur

    For those of you that have used both, how does performance and depth stack up compared to each machine. I have used ( long time ago ) the CZ6a for salt water beach hunting and it did very good with great depth, will it go as deep as the excal? Thanks, John
