    Here's a S.C. button I found along with another in a yankee camp/picket area. The two S.C. buttons were the only confederate stuff found there. ......

    I am unable to find what I think is a perfect match in the Albert's book. The buttons mic at 18.65mm. Any ideas would be appreciated. The pic of the back is a little blurry but it is a local made with stars around it...

    Found a bayonet and a cannon yesterday.........:smile:

    Here's my finds for the weekend. I found 2 cannonball frags, a couple of fired gardners, some musketballs, some grommets and some whatsits.     Hit a new spot I gained permission to hunt on. It's farmland and roughly maybe 15 to 20 acres. The owner allowed it had been hit by 15 or 20 people before but go ahead. I had heard of some stuff coming out of this area and the surrounding area before. When I got there I started for the spots...
