    My uncovered plants are all gone this morning, had a sprinkling of snow on the car. Stayed in and whittled these two out yesterday.............

    Here are my best finds for this year. The Morgan dollar is the best find, I feel. I find lots of rings, but only one of these in 36 years of hunting..

    The best four finds this year. A mans bling bling ring, 14K with 27 diamonds. Found in one of the beaches in South Florida. The 1902 Morgan dollar, I put it in a silver bezel for wearing on special occasions. What a thrill to find a "cartwheel" :thumbup: A nice bronze medallion for girls...

    Heard on the radio that some woman found a 10 carat yellow diamond at Crater of diamonds!!

    Dang, wonder if thats that yellow pebble I threw at that bird on the pole?? Maybe I'll jaunt on down that way in another week or so, take the detectors, hit some lakes, find some diamonds!!:thumbup:

    This guy with the dredge better put it up for sale. I spoke with the Iowa DNR, and the assistant director will be calling me tomorrow.

    They are real interested in this dredging thats going on. I'll do what I can to protect our interests as metal detectorists, but I'm going to recommend they outlaw dredges, and dredging in Iowa's waters.
