    One more thing, I only use the Gold setting in certain areas with the highest foot traffic areas.

    Hi, you have 4 different settings modes, 1- park..2- field..3-beach..4-gold. The gold factory setting was set up to find very small items like gold nuggets with either 20 or 40 kHz. This will pick up very fine gold items like chsins etc…. I know that the Legend is a multi frequency detector...

    Went to a couple tot lots that have been worked over hard and one fishing hole, did manage to sniff out some small jewelry, no quarters this time around.

    Gold mode is paying off once you get the hang of it. Single mode using 20 kHz in ferrous setting works good also.

    Went out again, trying something new every time I go out. Tried the goldfield mode, different settings in field and park modes and ran single freq. at 28 kHz. After doing some air tests, found out that if you run 0 discrimination, you get better depth and very small targets in both the field...

    Went out to a couple tot lots that are heavily detected by locals. Used my gold field mode in a sanded volleyball and found the diamond ear ring which my other modes could not pick up, about 3-4” deep. Also found a couple rings, junkers, but still rings. Notched out most of the Pennie’s, tired...
