    ?? about 3 khz coil

    I put my 3x9 inch khz coil on for the first time today and searched a liitle in my backyard, it seems to me that this coil may be a little heavier than my 7.5 khz. Is it a heavier coil than the 7.5 x 9 inch ? Thanks for any comments Nock
